ALBION, N.Y. — A motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash at Route 98 and East County House Road in Albion on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Orleans County Sheriff, the motorcyclist, who was heading west on East County House Road, failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the path of a northbound vehicle, leading to a collision. Both vehicles went off the highway into a lawn, and the motorcyclist was ejected.
Mercy Ambulance, Mercy Flight and Albion firefighters did emergency lifesaving measures, but the motorcyclist died at the scene.
