Tyrone Tracy (Giants) was the highest-recommended RB waiver wire pickup this week.
Analysis
We really can’t have nice things in this game. The lightning rod of the Giants’ midseason excitement and perhaps the most loved player in fantasy this year, Cam Skattebo, suffered a dislocated ankle that will end his season. It’s a horrible blow for the electric rookie, the Giants, and fantasy managers everywhere. The only consolation to be found: Tyrone Tracy Jr. on the waiver wire.
Tracy was the “starter” to begin the season before injury, and Skattebo’s brilliance relegated him to the bench. He should be back at the forefront of the Giants’ offense with this injury. He may not be the most efficient or exciting fantasy play, but he will see double-digit touches on a weekly basis and is a must-add in all leagues.
Recommendation: Should be added in all leagues

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football RB Rankings?
Tank Bigsby and Dylan Sampson are the best running back stashes ahead of Week 9.
Tank Bigsby, RB – Eagles (17%)
Whether it was the New York Giants’ run defense, the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line finally getting some push, or some combination of the two, Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby ran roughshod through them in Week 8. Their eight combined rushes of 10+ yards were nearly as many as Barkley had on the season up to that point, and Bigsby had an insane 8.78 yards created after contact over his nine attempts.
While Barkley’s groin injury doesn’t look to be something that will sideline him going forward, the meaningful takeaway here is that Bigsby is very clearly the team’s RB2 as Will Shipley still only has seven carries on the season and A.J. Dillon sits at twelve.
Barkley has at least a nominal amount of wear and tear after his incredibly productive 2024, and Bigsby should be stashed in leagues of all sizes.
Dylan Sampson, RB – Browns (14%)
It seems like a lifetime ago that Dylan Sampson made his rookie debut and rattled off an 8-64-0 stat line on eight targets. He didn’t quite have that sort of impact in Week 8, but he did play 19 of a possible 27 snaps after Quinshon Judkins went down, popping back into our lives with a 5-29-0 receiving stat line as the team played from a huge deficit. We’ll have to ignore his zero rushing yards on three carries, but considering the Browns are only running the ball on 37.1% of their snaps —the third-lowest rate in the league— we should probably be more concerned with his passing-game usage anyways.
The severity of Judkins’ injury isn’t 100% certain right now, but there seems to be a good chance that he’ll suit up after the team’s Week 9 bye, so temper any bids for Sampson accordingly. As a deep-league low-risk stash, he still makes some sense.
