IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — Irondequoit Police say the owner of Lush Resto Lounge has been arrested after the Town of Irondequoit revoked the lounge’s permit following a homicide at the beginning of October.
In a letter from the town, it says the office was made aware amid a criminal investigation that the place was operating without a liquor license, and therefore revoked its permit effective immediately.
According to the town, it says the permit was issued “in conflict with the requirements ofany applicable law, code, ordinance, policy, procedure, rule or regulation and, accordinglyshould not have been issued.”
On Oct. 5, Irondequoit police say a man drove into the front window of the lounge. They say he had a stab wound and later died as a result, ruling his death a homicide.
Police say the owner of Lush, Gabrielle Green, has been charged with tampering with physical evidence related to her actions the night of the homicide.
News10NBC previously went to the lounge and saw a note on the door stating that it was closed by the town, calling the structure “unsafe.”
