After seven brilliant seasons, Sky comedy series Brassic is coming to an end, with the season 7 finale set to air this week.
It was announced earlier this year that the series, which has been co-created by Joe Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst, will be the last, and Erin actress Michelle Keegan was quick to refute rumours at the time that the series had been axed.
The actress wrote on Instagram: "And just for the record… Brassic has not been 'AXED' or 'cancelled'.
"It’s come to a natural end after 6 fantastic seasons, and we’re currently in the middle of making the 7th and final season.
"Sending love to all the Brassic fans out there."
Nevertheless, it sounds as if the gang are going to get a fitting goodbye, judging by recent comments from cast members.
Sugar star Joanna Higson recently teased what fans can expect from the finale, telling RadioTimes.com exclusively on the red carpet for the National Television Awards 2025, "I think they're gonna be furious!"
Tommo star Ryan Sampson added: "It's sort of harrowing. The last episode is significantly more dark and intense than we've ever done before. So I'll be keen to see what people think of it."

Brassic season 7 release When is the finale set to air?
The Brassic season 7 finale will air on Sky Max and NOW on Thursday 30th October.
The show premiered on Thursday 25th September.
On the announcement of the new season, series co-creator Danny Brocklehurst previously said: "Season 7! How did this happen?!? Brassic is a delight to make and it's a privilege to create more chaos for our loyal and loving audience."
Similarly, head of comedy commissioning at Sky Studios, Alex Moody, said: "We couldn’t be happier that Vinnie and the gang will return for another raucous ride, bringing heart, laughs and Farmer Jim’s unrivalled swear count back to Sky for a seventh series."
There are six episodes in total in Brassic season 7.

The official synopsis for the last ever episodes teases "lederhosen-fuelled escapades, school reunions gone wildly off the rails, and gangsters more unhinged than ever".
"But amid the madness, old wounds resurface, friendships are tested, and the gang must face what their future and their past really mean."
It also teases that it "will see the gang get an unmissable send-off, as Vinnie and the crew face their biggest challenge yet — clashing with old enemies, confronting long-lost family, and diving headfirst into chaos.
"It’s a fitting farewell that wraps up their legendary seven-series run in unforgettable Brassic style."
The season 6 finale saw JJ (Parth Thakerar) and Sugar (Joanna Higson) tie the knot but they were rocked by some tragic news, as the gang prepared to plan another event that none of them thought they would be doing.
It's safe to say that the finale was a shocker, as previously teased by Higson. She had admitted: "It's the first year that you'll finish the series going, 'Oh my God.' Like, it's a genuine, massive question mark.
"You can usually tell when a series is written and setup for the next bit. [You're like] 'Oh, they've written that, oh, that's it.' But this is really like ooh! It makes you think."
