The tight end, 36, and his New Heights co-host Jason Kelce spoke about the Kansas City Chiefs' historic football game against the Washington Commanders on Oct. 27, where Travis scored his 83rd touchdown of his regular-season career. Travis tied with former Chiefs running back Priest Holmes for the most touchdowns in the franchise's history.
In the episode, Jason revealed that Travis was “second in receiving yards this season,” while the other players who previously reached that milestone "are 23, 24, 25, and 22 years old.”
"You're over a decade older than every other person on this list,” Jason told Travis. But despite making that achievement at 36, Travis noted that he currently felt "younger than ever too, man.”

In response, Travis attributed his success on the field and breaking the major career record to his team and said "The energy in the building feels a lot more electric."
It feels like we're moving at a pace that we weren't moving at last year,” he continued. "And yeah, it's honestly because we're scoring touchdowns. I think when everybody's getting a piece of the pie like this, I mean, ‘Mhmm.’"

After the game ended, Travis spoke to ESPN about his career milestone after the game and said “I just cherish these moments. Coming out here being able to play in front of Chiefs kingdom at Arrowhead.”
"This place is special and I love it here," he continued. "In terms of the historical stuff, I’m still looking at the next game and the next catch and trying to get better every single day. I think I’ll look back at it and appreciate it.”
