CAIRO, Oct 26 (MENA) – The Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) released a series of infographics under the title “Egypt’s Fourth Pyramid… The Grand Egyptian Museum.”
The center described the museum as the world’s largest archaeological museum dedicated to the ancient Egyptian civilization, covering an area of 500,000 square meters and housing over 100,000 artifacts that showcase Egypt’s treasures across the ages.
It added that GEM is an architectural masterpiece overlooking the Giza Pyramids, embodying the intersection of Egypt’s glorious past and its forward-looking vision.
IDSC also highlighted the world’s only suspended obelisk, installed on an innovative steel base that reveals the cartouche of King Ramses II; a unique engineering and cultural feature that distinguishes the museum. (MENA)
