The Nope star dressed up as Honey Daniels — the streetwise choreographer made famous by the 2000s dance movie favorite Honey — for Halloween, and fans can't get enough. The costume pays homage to Jessica Alba, the actress who plays Honey.
Honey follows an aspiring hip hop choreographer from New York City who starts teaching dance classes at a community center in Harlem to keep kids off the streets. Honey thinks she's hit the jackpot when she meets a hotshot director (David Moscow) who casts her in one of his music videos. But when he starts demanding sexual favors from her, Honey makes a decision that will change her life. The film stars Alba, Moscow, Mekhi Phifer, Zachary Isaiah Williams, Romeo Miller, Joy Bryant and Lonette McKee. A second film, Honey 2, came out in 2011, but Alba does not reprise her character.

The "125 Degrees singer" also wore her hair in loose curls, just like how Honey does.
"Halloweeeeen honeyyy," Palmer wrote as her Instagram caption. In the first two hours the photo was shared, the post has received over 24,000 likes and more than 240 comments.

Many of the actress's friends and fans rushed to the comments, expressing their love and excitement for her look.
Mike Ho, Palmer's creative director, hyped up Palmer and simply commented, "?????."
"The MVP ?," Romeo Miller, an American actor and rapper who played Benny in the Honey movies, commented.
"Exactly ??," a fan commented.
"i love when a baddie dresses up as a baddie for halloween," a fan wrote on X, along with a TikTok edit of Honey Daniels.
"I’m too excited for the contentttt," a fan wrote.
One wrote on X, "She understood the assignment and the choreography."
Also on Monday, Palmer posted a video of her recreating the scene from Honey where Daniels (Alba) is teaching a hip-hop class, but a student slips and falls in the middle of the routine. Instead of shaming or yelling at the student, Honey encourages the student to get back up and keep dancing, telling them that what matters is to keep counting.
Palmer's video, which was posted on Monday morning, garnered over 100k likes, and some of the original cast are featured in the recreation.

After Alba completed Honey in 2003, she became one of Hollywood’s biggest names. In 2005, she went on to headline hits like Into the Blue, Sin City and Fantastic Four. Nowadays, Alba shifted focus towards her business, The Honest Company, a successful lifestyle brand centered on clean, eco-friendly products she established in 2012. The 44-year-old actress also confirmed her relationship with Top Gun actor Danny Ramirez on Monday.
Currently, Palmer is busy with her new show Southern Fried Rice on KeyTV, while also promoting her new album Just Keke, which came out earlier this past summer.
