Singer Reneé Rapp, who is a rising star in the music world, shared the unfortunate news on Sunday, Oct. 26, that she had to cancel two concerts on her tour as she recovered from an illness.
The 25-year-old shared an honest message with her fans in Atlanta, Ga. and Tampa, Fla. on social media, writing on her Instagram Stories, "In my career I have never had to do this before— but I have to reschedule tonight and tomorrow's shows."
"I've been pushing through an illness but my body has finally given out," she admitted. "My doctors told me that it isn't safe to perform due to the need for vocal rest and physical recovery."
Rapp then revealed the details of the rescheduled concerts, stating that the Atlanta show originally scheduled for Oct. 26 would now happen on Nov. 5, while the concert in Tampa set for Oct. 27 was moved to Nov. 4. All of the original purchased tickets would be valid for the new dates.
