Country Heartthrob Forced To Cancel Concert Rescues Fans Stuck in the Mud: ‘What a Guy’

Tucker Wetmore was forced to put his concert on hold over the weekend in Round Rock, TX, due to bad weather. The country singer was scheduled to perform at the Round Rock Amphitheater on Saturday, October 25, but heavy rain barreled through the area, covering the grounds and deeming the show’s continuation unsafe.

Just minutes before the show was set to kick off, the live music venue took to its official Facebook page to inform ticket holders that the event had “been postponed.” The organizers for the event also shared that they would be “emailing all ticket buyers with more information next week.” So folks who purchased a ticket in the hope of seeing Wetmore sing live should keep an eye on their emails for more information regarding rescheduling details for the concert.

On Saturday evening, Wetmore also took to his Instagram stories, sharing a selfie and a short and sweet apology note to his fans.

“Round Rock, TX. I’m sorry. I can’t control the weather. But I will be back. Love y’all,” he wrote in the since-expired story.

Although Wetmore wasn’t able to perform for his fans as he had intended, the Kalama, Washington native, 25, didn’t disappoint. He stayed behind to brave the storm, making sure concertgoers who had driven to the music venue weren't caught in the thick of the muddy mess.

Wetmore rolled up his sleeves and got his hands dirty to assist fans whose vehicles were stuck in the mud.

“The show got cancelled, so this is what we did instead,” a video shared on the “Wind Up Missin’ You” crooner’s Instagram page reads.

In the video, Wetmore can be seen demonstrating his dedication to fans, even while offstage, as he takes time out to help push trucks out of the mud. He also stopped to sign autographs and pose for photos with several fans.

Fans Were Amazed by Tucker Wetmore’s Kind Heart

Folks were extremely grateful for Wetmore’s kindness and generous spirit as they didn’t expect such a sweet surprise.

“Man of the people,” one person wrote in the comment section of the post, while another fan added, “Getting all those cars unstuck last night was so much fun ? nice meeting you @tuckerwetmore.”

A third person wrote, “The most incredible people!! Tucker and every member of his amazing entourage are incredible superhumans! ?.”

Wetmore’s giving nature is proof that fans didn’t leave the concert venue empty-handed, and another reason to follow the rising star if they already haven’t had enough of them.

Tucker Wetmore Has Headlining Tour Dates in 2026

Wetmore’s latest act of kindness comes as he prepares to take the road for his 22-stop headlining “The Brunette World Tour,” kicking off in February of 2026.  Dasha, Carter Faith, and Jacob Hackworth will serve as openers on select dates for the trek, which will make stops in Boston, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, and more through April 28.

“I’ve been lucky to play these songs for fans all over the country in the past year and a half, but getting to headline my own tour — and take it to fans in the UK and Europe for the first time — is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time,” Wetmore shared in a press release. “I’m bringing some of my favorite people out on the road with me, and you can bet we’re going to make it a party every night.”
