We had a third string true freshman quarterback who had no idea he was going into the game. We were two inches short from sending it into overtime. Yes, there were too many mistakes. However, we have two losses. We lost to the No. 4 team in the country Alabama on a field goal. We have two close losses to top 10 teams within 10 points.”

As Daniel mentioned, the Tigers lost quarterback Beau Pribula to an injury in the second half, and freshman quarterback Matt Zollers had to come in. He nearly completed an incredible comeback, but a Hail Mary at the end of regulation was caught by Kevin Coleman Jr. just short of the goal line.
The Tigers get a much-needed bye next week before welcoming in another tough SEC team in Texas A&M in Week 11.
