"This hair color is everything," one fan simply said.

"Yesssss love the whole vibe," added another.

"That hair. That dress. GORGEOUS," raved another.

Underwood took the opportunity to honor the late songwriter Brett James, who, along with his wife and stepdaughter, was recently killed in a plane crash, with her performance.

"I’m blessed to have known him, and I get the gift of singing his words and melodies for the rest of my life," she captioned the photo.

She also recently announced that she’d be honoring James on her SiriusXM show, Carrie’s Countdown, throughout the month in a tearful announcement.

"I choose to make this countdown about remembering Brett James because I feel like it's healing, it is celebratory and it's fitting," she tearfully said. "He's going to be missed so much by anybody that knew him. It's going to be weird writing and not having him on the schedule but hopefully we can take everything we have learned from Brett with us and continue to write amazing songs."

James, who was an Opry member himself, had 27 No. 1 songs to his name with an impressive roster of artists. In addition to co-writing Underwood’s iconic “Jesus Take the Wheel,” he also co-wrote her other hits like “Cowboy Casanova” and “Something in the Water.” James is also the genius behind these incredible tracks:
