The European Union (EU) delegation to Egypt announced the appointment of actress Yasmina al-Abd as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Integrated Water and Food Security (IWFS) Europe Team, an initiative aimed at raising awareness of water issues.
This appointment comes under the EU’s belief in the importance of engaging youth and artists in raising awareness about environmental and development issues, alongside bolstering the role of celebrities in inspiring society to adopt sustainable practices and support initiatives that serve their community.
Yasmina al-Abd is currently filming her first leading role in the drama series “Midterm” and is completing filming for her first leading role in the film “Kan Yama Kan.”
The series also stars Youssef Raafat, Gala Hisham, Ziad Zaza, Donia Wael, and others. The series is written and directed by Mariam al-Bagoury, co-written by Mohamed Sadek with screenplay and dialogue by the Barah Workshop.
This is Yasmina’s first leading role with Watch It platform.
