Trump policies boost the Trump Family Empire

Although President Trump insists he is “not a king,” he oversees a global corporate empire focused on continuously expanding the Trump brand, actively involving his “royal” family. Never in U.S. history have a president’s business interests been so openly and directly connected to government affairs under his influence.

A Forbes wealth profile states that Trump "has presided over the most lucrative presidency in American history,” estimating a net worth increase from $2.3 billion in 2024 to $5.1 billion. Forbes also reports his total net worth as $7.1 billion.

Let’s review how the Trump Family Empire is enriching itself from presidential policies and access, starting with the youngest members.

Kia Trump, age 18: The president’s oldest grandchild, a high school senior and talented golfer, has skillfully branded herself and turned the Trump name into a "KT" monogrammed sweatshirt line. Priced at a steep $130, Kia (Don Jr.’s daughter) wore the sweatshirt while attending the prestigious Ryder Cup with “grandpa,” earning priceless free advertising.

Barron Trump, age 19: The only child of Trump and first lady Melania is an New York University college student who has earned $150 million through World Liberty Financial, his family’s cryptocurrency venture. (More on that below.)

The most consequential long-term reports suggest that Barron might be appointed to TikTok's board. But first, the complicated deal must close, transferring ownership from Chinese company ByteDance to a group of American billionaires (Trump allies) and global investors. Watch for these strategic developments, which could position Barron as a power player while boosting the Trump Family Empire.

Eric Trump, age 41: He is the youngest of Trump's three children born to Ivana Trump. During his father’s second term, Eric became a No. 1 best-selling author and global titan. In August, a Wall Street Journal article ran, titled: “How Eric Trump Became One of Crypto’s Greatest Evangelists — Real-estate executive has been at the vanguard of the first family’s rapid entry into the cryptocurrency business.”

Just weeks before the 2024 election, Eric co-founded the cyber venture World Liberty Financial with his father, two brothers and friends. Wealth has no limit when the crypto industry contributes millions to your dad’s presidential campaign. After the inaugural donations, payback came when Trump controlled crypto regulation, or the lack thereof. Recently, reportedly, the Trump Family Empire earned over $1 billion through their various crypto ventures, with Eric on record saying it’s “probably more.”

Eric Trump’s official title is “executive vice president of the Trump Organization.” His corporate bio states that “he oversees the company’s vast global real estate portfolio.”

Fortunately, when your dad is president and playing hardball without rules, doors of opportunity open worldwide. This month’s open mic exchange between President Trump and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto illustrates why Trump.com features new developments in countries that might conflict with U.S. foreign policy. But there are no conflicts when growing the Trump Family Empire — only opportunities.

Lara Trump, age 43: The president’s daughter-in-law is married to Eric. After successfully serving as co-chair of the RNC, she landed a Saturday night talk show on Fox News in February, although her ratings have declined somewhat. But whenever Lara needs a boost, she can call her father-in-law for an interview. Access and media influence are her currency.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, both age 44: First daughter Ivanka has notably stepped back in Trump 2.0, but her husband, Jared, was a key player in negotiating the now-fragile Gaza-Israeli peace deal. If it lasts, Kushner’s investment company, Affinity Partners, is well-positioned. It was formed in 2021 with $2 billion from the Saudi sovereign wealth fund, just six months after Kushner left the White House. Later, congressional Republicans accused Ivanka’s husband of “crossing the line of ethics.”

Now Kushner’s firm is backed with nearly $5 billion in Middle Eastern assets from a consortium of sovereign wealth funds and individual investors who could realize his father-in-law’s vision of a U.S.-led “Gaza Riviera” redevelopment. In February, the president imagined “Trump Gaza,” with a controversial AI-generated video that drew Middle East criticism. For Ivanka and Jared, when it comes to lucrative ventures with the Trump Family Empire, it’s all in the family.

Donald Trump Jr. turns 48 on New Year's Eve: The eldest son is a power behind the throne. He oversees the trust, where, in December 2024, the president-elect transferred controlling shares valued at $4 billion in TMTG (Trump Media and Technology Group), which owns Truth Social. Last month, a TMTG press release announced the offering of five financial instruments, digital asset ETFs called “Truth Social Funds,” pending Securities and Exchange Commission approval. (Expect no problems.) These offerings expand the June announcement of TMTG’s proposed bitcoin exchange fund for “everyday investors.”

Does anyone see an issue with TMTG, the president’s publicly traded company, offering investment instruments? Unfortunately, the Securities and Exchange Commission has received little Senate blowback.

Don Jr. is also a partner in 1789 Capital, a growing and influential venture fund. All the Trump-aligned investment companies are positioned to profit from Trump’s policies, aided by loose regulations and virtually no oversight. To facilitate investor networking, Trump Jr. and friends founded The Executive Branch, a private Washington club with a $500,000 initiation fee.

There is no limit to Don Jr.'s portfolio, which includes sharing the title “Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization” with his brother Eric. In his spare time, Don Jr. is launching a public company with Fox News host Laura Ingraham. And don’t forget how influential Don Jr. was in selecting then-Ohio Sen. JD Vance to be the vice presidential nominee in 2024. Junior could be the heir to the White House throne in 2028 since he is a political rock star in the MAGA universe.

President Trump, age 79: While his family empire expands, the king has been busy building a royal golden ballroom. He plans to issue a $1 Treasury coin featuring his favorite “Fight, Fight, Fight” image and erect an “Arc de Trump” at the Memorial Bridge, facing the Lincoln Memorial, which honors the president who saved the Union. Ironically, Trump’s rhetoric and actions promote Union division with his use of vitriolic language and misinformation in what is now an “us versus them” nation.

But, no matter how the king’s reign ends, the Trump Family Empire will flourish.
