Sept. 28

1:30 p.m.: A caller in the 1300 block of 52nd Avenue reported several people constantly hang out in the bushes along the fence. The caller said they were there earlier that morning and left several bottles of alcohol.

    1:45 p.m.: A caller in the 4900 block of 10th Street Road reported hearing dogs barking from the storm drain. Officers responded but were unable to find any dogs in the drainage system.

    7:45 p.m.: A caller at an unknown address reported an aggressive dog next door that kept trying to “eat through the fence” to get to her dogs.

    Sept. 29

    2:45 p.m.: A caller at a convenience store in the 800 block of 16th Street reported a man threatening staff and customers. The caller was worried that the man had “several sticks on him.”

    5:45 p.m.: A caller at 10th Avenue and 9th Street reported a blue parakeet with a band around its foot walking in the area.

    7:45 p.m.: A woman at the Greeley Police Department reported she got a restraining order against her husband, but he wouldn’t answer his door to get served. She wasn’t sure what to do because she knew he was there.

    8:30 p.m.: A caller in the 4300 block of 9th Street Road reported a man in the parking lot who kept asking customers for rides. The man also kept approaching the doors like he wanted to come in, but never actually did.

    11:45 p.m.: A caller in the 2100 block of 8th Avenue reported someone in the alley shooting either a pellet gun or BB gun at the caller’s truck.

    Sept. 30

    2:30 p.m.: A caller at an unknown location reported someone at her house drinking while on medication. The caller was wondering if they could send an officer to the area to catch her driving drunk when she left.

    6:30 p.m.: A caller from a store at an unknown location reported he was helping someone load groceries into their car and saw someone tied up in the backseat.

    8:15 p.m.: A caller in the 2000 block of 8th Avenue reported she fell asleep and thought someone had taken her keys out of her backpack.

    9:15 p.m.: A caller at a hotel at an unknown address reported going outside to smoke and seeing a large cat. The caller told police that he was “absolutely certain it was a lion.”

    3:15 p.m.: A caller at the Greeley Mall reported a man pulled up to the caller’s children claiming to be a pastor. The man said “he felt compelled to speak to them” and tried to take a picture of the children.
