Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannullis Prenup Does Not Benefit Her: Source

Lori Loughlin and estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli signed a prenuptial agreement when they got married — but that might not stop a potential divorce from getting messy.

Loughlin, 61, married fashion designer Giannulli, 62, in 1997, during which they agreed to keep their premarital assets as separate property. (TMZ was first to report the news.)

“He is still worth a lot of money and the prenup does not benefit her,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Lori is so nice and does not have a vindictive bone in her body.”

According to the insider, Loughlin and Giannulli have both retained legal counsel and are “moving toward divorce proceedings.” (The twosome have yet to take legal action, calling their split a “separation” in a statement on October 2.)

“They have been living separately for several months,” the source adds.

The Full House alum and Giannulli have been married for 27 years.

Neither Loughlin nor Giannulli have further addressed their breakup. Days later, a second source told Us that the actress was “devastated” about her marriage ending.

“People around Lori and Mossimo have known they have been going through a really hard time in the last year,” the second source said. “This isn’t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. They will not reconcile, there is currently no chance, and will ultimately divorce.”

Per the second insider, Loughlin has not started dating again — though Giannulli has. He has since been spotted with 32-year-old stylist Hannah Harrison, who denied their connection was anything besides platonic.

“I feel like it was bad timing. I went to the [G/FORE Supply] store not knowing that his separation had been announced,” Harrison said in a statement shared on October 3. “I was going there to meet him. … He was introducing me to the guys there so I could pull clothes [for Giannulli’s brand G/FORE].”

Loughlin and Giannulli are parents to daughters Bella, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26, whom a third source told Us weren’t “surprised” by their parent’s breakup.

“They had seen the way their parents were interacting in the last year and knew this was coming,” the third insider said on October 10. “It was not a shock to anyone in the family. This change feels more like an adjustment than a disruption. Everyone’s still adjusting, but it’s been a calm transition overall.”

Loughlin and Giannulli previously faced public hardships in their marriage. The pair were both arrested in 2018 for their alleged involvement in the college admissions scandal, where they were accused of paying bribes to secure Bella and Olivia Jade’s admission into the University of Southern California.

John Stamos Goes Off About Lori Loughlin’s 'Narcissist' Husband Mossimo

While Loughlin and Giannulli initially pleaded not guilty to fraud and money laundering conspiracy charges, they each changed their plea in 2020. They both pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud and were sentenced to prison. Giannulli was sentenced to five months with two years of supervised release, and he was released in April 2021.

Loughlin, for her part, served two months behind bars and was released in December 2020. They also paid $400,000 in fines as part of their sentence.

Loughlin’s longtime Full House costar John Stamos, meanwhile, has weighed in on the breakup and blamed Giannulli for the breakup and college scandal.

“40 years I’ve known her. You can see through people after a few years,” Stamos, 62, said on the Monday, October 20, episode of the “Good Guys” podcast. “This woman’s a saint. I’m just heartbroken for her right now.”

Stamos further claimed that Giannulli is a “terrible narcissist,” revealing how he tried to support Loughlin through her marriage and scandal.

“I really tried to be there for her during this time and also with the college scandal,” Stamos added. “I’m not going to debate whether she had much to do with it or not. I know she didn’t. She’s not a liar. She’s a saint.”

Loughlin was previously married to Michael Burns from 1989 to 1996, while Mossimo also shares son Gianni, 34, with ex-wife Chris Giannulli.
