Nicki Minaj just keeps going viral on X (formerly known as Twitter) — but this time, it's for a different reason than her ongoing feud with Cardi B.
In a decidedly unexpected (and certainly "blunt") message to Minaj, "You're Beautiful" singer James Blunt couldn't help but call out one of her most recent posts.
"Idk who needs to hear this, but you’re beautiful," Minaj, who frequently talks to her fans on the app, wrote on Wednesday, October 22. Just hours later, Blunt quote-tweeted the post to add his own commentary.
"You’re a little slow to the party," he quipped, referencing "You're Beautiful," his massively popular 2004 hit that has 900 million views on YouTube (and counting).
Blunt fans immediately went to work incorporating his last name into their own responses.
"Thank you for always being so blunt," one fan joked.
"To put it bluntly…," another quipped.
"BLUNT TRUTH," a third user replied in all-caps.
While some of Minaj's Barbz seemingly went after Blunt for the joke, fans of both artists made sure to explain the context.
"Barbz Chill ? he was playful because he got a song called you are beautiful," one person wrote. "I know some of ya'll are very young."

As the "Goodbye My Lover" artist's followers are well-aware, he frequently tweets deprecating, tongue-in-cheek quips on X.
