GENEVA, N.Y. — A man has died in what New York State Police are calling a hit-and-run in Geneva on Thursday morning.
First responders found the victim in the southbound lane off Pre Emption Road after getting a 911 call around 1:30 a.m. He died at the scene.
State Police investigators determined that he was hit by a southbound vehicle that didn’t remain on the scene. Troopers say an autopsy from the Ontario County Coroner is pending. The road has since reopened.
State Police have not released the identity of the victim or any descriptions of the vehicle involved.
