After Owens sent Debbie home in third place on Wednesday night’s Bachelor episode, the stunning personal trainer, 65, told Parade she would like to follow Joan Vassos as ABC’s second The Golden Bachelorette.
"If [producers] asked me to do it, I would definitely do it,” Debbie said. “How could I pass up that opportunity? I mean, I am ready for love. I have put myself out there, and I'm gonna keep going. I don’t want to sit back now and hope, what? Somebody’s gonna slide into my DMs or something? I would definitely do [the senior Bachelorette]. I know how challenging it would be. But as I always [have] said, no risk, no reward.”

Debbie Siebers and Mel Owens on 'The Golden Bachelorette'When asked what she would bring to The Golden Bachelorette, Debbie, who started out working for Jake Steinfeld’s “Body by Jake” and later developed her own Slim in 6 fitness program, said, “I think I have so many more sides to me that Mel never got to see. I am very funny. I love to dance and sing. I’m also very introspective, and I’ve got a very deep side, and I’ve got a spiritual side. But I’ve got a very fun-loving side. I’m such a motivator. For my whole life, I’ve done that. I’ve helped other people lose weight and get healthy. But I [also] think there’s that small town girl in me that I’ve never lost.”
The brunette beauty who went all the way to former football player Owens’ top three is originally from Little Chute, Wisconsin, and told Parade in a previous interview, “I have had challenges that are so numerous to mention. I had a very tough childhood and it made me grow up fast and it made me move out very young at 18 and I moved to L.A. at 21.” Debbie now lives in Denver, Colorado and hopes TheGolden Bachelorette comes calling!
However, Nicolle, who was earlier eliminated by Owens, has also thrown her hat in the ring, previously telling Parade, “I think I would be an interesting candidate for that…I think viewership could be high because I am unexpected.”

Owens’ other women resented the blonde, thinking she wasn’t there for the right reasons. On camera, Nicolle was caught admitting to wanting to use The Golden Bachelor for self-promotion. Nicolle said she was "dating America" and wanted "Housewives status.” Her diss that the previous season’s Golden Bachelor contestants weren’t that attractive also caused controversy and made her the season’s villain.

Responding to yoga instructor Nicolle, 64, wanting to be The Golden Bachelorette, Debbie told Parade, "I don't really see that happening at all because unfortunately, she's really carved out a whole different thing for herself. I love the girl. I just adore her. [But] I’m disappointed in her. I think she’s sad and troubled, actually, and curious.” Debbie said about Nicolle’s contentious conversation on Owens’ show, “I thought she was just so much more savvy than that. It was surprising to me to hear her comments."

Producers could pick Debbie or Nicolle or someone totally unknown for The Golden Bachelorette, as they did in choosing Owens from outside the franchise. Or could both of them be selected in a dual senior season—as producers previously did with the younger Bachelorette in 2022 starring Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey? We’ll see!
Meanwhile, Owens’ finalists Cindy Cullers, 60, and Peg Munson, 62, continue to fight for his love on The Golden Bachelor, which airs Wednesday nights on ABC.
