October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Here in our community, the Compass Center has been hosting events all month long to raise awareness of this critical issue – an issue that’s become even more pressing in the last few years, even as agencies like the Compass Center have taken a major hit from state and federal funding cuts.
Aaron welcomed Compass Center development director Gentry Hodnett to the studio to discuss events around Domestic Violence Awareness Month (including a vigil on Thursday, October 23) and how you can help Compass fulfill its dual mission of preventing domestic violence and providing assistance to survivors.
