Cheryl Burke is heading back to the Dancing With the Stars ballroom as a guest judge on Halloween Night (Oct. 28). The 41-year-old pro, who retired after competing with Sam Champion in Season 31, told fans in a YouTube message that she’s "beyond excited" to rejoin the show alongside Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough.

In reality, Burke’s slimmer look is the result of a 41-pound weight loss she’s been open about — and it’s not due to Ozempic or other medications. She previously told Entertainment Tonight that she lost the weight through a clean-eating routine focused on balance and consistency.
"I’m on a very clean food program," Burke said in August 2025. "I don’t eat past 6 p.m., and I was a night eater. I’d skip breakfast and lunch and eat dinner at night." Her approach to weight loss includes a fruit shake in the morning, salad for lunch, and a satisfying, real-food dinner.
She also took to Instagram to clarify that she's not sick or on any kind of weight loss drug.
"I didn't get a new face," Burke captioned the video. "Stop dissecting women's bodies like they belong to you."
