After a decade of delicious dishes and kitchen camaraderie, the Food Network is closing the doors on one of its longest-running hits.
The weekend talk show The Kitchen will officially end this December after 10 years and more than 40 seasons, reports Variety. The show’s final episode will air on December 13.
Co-hosted by Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee Biegel, Jeff Mauro, Geoffrey Zakarian, and frequent recurring guest Alex Guarnaschelli, The Kitchen debuted in January 2014 as Food Network’s lighthearted weekend gathering spot for recipes, food trends, and family meal inspiration.

Over its decade-long run, the Emmy-nominated series became a staple for Saturday viewers — part cooking show, part talk show, part friendly banter between the network’s most familiar faces.
According to a source close to production, the show’s conclusion comes as Food Network and parent company Warner Bros. Discovery re-evaluate priorities for 2026 programming and the split between the linear channels and streaming platforms.
The Kitchen’s final episode airs Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 at 11 a.m. ET on Food Network. All episodes will continue to stream on HBO Max and Discovery+.
Warner Bros. Discovery Statement
Betsy Ayala, head of food content for Warner Bros. Discovery, praised the cast and crew in a statement celebrating the show’s run:
“For over a decade Sunny, Katie, Jeff, Geoffrey and more recently Alex have engaged audiences with their individual and distinct food sensibilities and sense of humor that together make ‘The Kitchen’ a delicious way to spend an hour. Everyone knows all good parties end up in ‘The Kitchen,’ where the conversation, laughs and food flow; the best parties probably end a little bit earlier than some guests would like, but we’ve got twelve years of memories and wanted to celebrate this team’s hard work during one final holiday season.”
