University of Colorado regent and board chair Callie Rennison will not seek re-election in 2026, her office announced Sunday evening.
2nd Congressional District University of Colorado Board of Regent Callie RennisonRennison, who represents Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District on the CU Board of Regents, was first elected as regent in 2020 and has served as the board’s chair since 2023. Her current term will end in January 2027.
“I am so proud of all that we have accomplished during my tenure on the board,” Rennison said in a statement. “… While I will miss working with the amazing people on our campuses and in the system office, I will leave the board knowing that the university, the system office and our campuses are in capable hands.”
