GLENDALE — Down multiple starters, the Arizona Cardinals needed quarterback Jacoby Brissett to have a repeat performance similar to last week for any chance at upending the Green Bay Packers and snapping a four-game losing streak.
Oh yeah and do it in a home environment that was filled to the brim with cheeseheads.
While it was another valiant effort by Brissett, it was yet another one-score loss in a 27-23 defeat.

Arizona is now 2-5 heading into the bye week, a very different mark than what many expected at this point in the season.
Among the biggest issues Sunday was Arizona’s offensive line, which allowed plenty of pressures and six sacks on the afternoon. Micah Parsons accounted for three of them.
Brissett stood in and delivered as best he could, completing 25-of-36 for 279 yards and two touchdowns. But much like last week, the quarterback and the offense couldn’t close things out.
And that’s even with tight end Trey McBride’s career day that ended with two touchdowns and new career high for a season.
The Cardinals carried a 20-13 lead into the fourth quarter but gave up two touchdowns, with Josh Jacobs plunging in a 1 yard run with 1:50 left to give the Packers a decisive lead for good.
Brissett marched the Cardinals down to the Packers 27 yard line but a fourth down pass was tipped out of the end zone to end the Cardinals comeback attempt.
