Doritos Dinamita is getting a spicy new flavor and fans say it sounds "fire."
The decade-old subline, which takes the iconic Doritos flavor-dusted corn chip and rolls it into a crunchy, stick shape, was first introduced in 2012. In the years since, it has undergone two rebrandings and released several tangy flavors that "disrupted" the snack aisle, as the company shared in a January 2024 press release.
Doritos Dinamita's current roster of new and old flavors includes the original Chile Limón, Flamin' Hot Queso, Smoky Chile Queso, Tangy Fiery Lime, Hot Honey Mustard, and now, Spicy Cool Ranch.
Doritos Dinamita Spicy Cool Ranch Flavor Coming Soon
The new flavor, apparently inspired by a classic Doritos variety, was spotted at the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) trade show in Chicago earlier this week.
According to trusted food bloggerSnackolator, the new flavor is to be released sometime in "early 2026," so we would expect to see these start popping up sometime in the first quarter.
In addition to the first look, the influencer received a first taste and said the chips are "fire"–(well, in so many words, using three fire emojis in place of the word itself) and even admitted, "I like them even better than Flamin Hot Cool Ranch."

From what Parade can tell, the new Doritos Dinamita flavor isn't going to be overwhelmingly spicy, but should pack a nice kick as it's only rated "medium," the least spicy of the three categories the brand uses to rate its products (medium, hot, or extra hot).
Given the imagery and clues on the bag, we believe the flavor profile to be a combination of Doritos' famous Cool Ranch flavor and jalapeños, but that has yet to be confirmed. Though it's likely, as the brand did mashup two other chip flavors a couple of months ago when it released the Twisted Queso Doritos in July, and it does currently make several jalapeño-flavored Doritos varieties in both the U.S. (Late Night Zesty Jalapeno Popper) and Canada (Jalapeño Cheddar).
A spokesperson for Doritos was not immediately available for comment. We will update this article with any relevant insight that may be shared.
Despite the little information shared with this first look, fans are hyped and just about ready to start seeing the new variety hit shelves.
"Can’t wait to try these!! ??," one fan replied.
"Yes please," a second shared as a third wrote, "Ohhh yeah! ?."
One more declared the new variety "???an absolute need."
An official list of retailers remains unclear, as of writing. That said, this doesn't appear to be exclusive to any one family of stores, so if we had to guess, as soon as the product enters its distribution phase, fans will likely be able to grab a bag anywhere that sells Doritos Dinamita, Frito-Lay, or other PepsiCo products.
