Georgia Tech Dual Meet Tournament
October 17-18, 2025 Atlanta, Georgia SCY (25 Yards) Results Available on Meet Mobile: “2025 GT The Dual Meet Tournament” Team Scores Auburn 503 — 286 Florida StateThe 3rd-place meet of the Georgia Tech Dual Meet Tournament was one of the biggest blowouts of the tournament with Auburn beating Florida State by 217 points for 3rd place overall.
The Tigers won the first event of the meet, the women’s 400 free relay with the team of Lisa Klevanovich (48.14), Isabel Iwasyk (49.21), Wyllo Hanson (49.34), and Isabella Ekk (49.99) swimming 3:16.68 to beat Florida State’s relay of 3:21.10.
Lora Komoroczy won the women’s 100 back in 51.65, which would have been the 6th fastest time in the country this season before this weekend of meets. She also finished 2nd in the 50 free at 22.22, a best time by eight hundredths of a second to come in behind Lisa Klevanovich‘s 21.95.
That swim marked Klevanovich’s 3rd sub 22 swim of the meet when she had never been under before.
Klevanovich and Komoroczy also swam on the winning Auburn 200 medley relay. Komoroczy led off in 23.92. Kiia Metsakonkola swam the breaststroke in 27.12. Isabel Iwasyk swam fly in 23.95, and Klevanovich split a monster 21.36 on the freestyle leg.
Freshman Taylor Bacher won the women’s 200 fly and 200 IM events in 1:57.32 and 1:59.52. Both swims were massive personal best times with her previous 200 fly time sitting at 1:58.84 from January 2024, and her 200 IM time coming in at 2:03.84 from March 2024.
Auburn had a strong performance in the men’s 200 medley relay with Luke Bedsole (21.89), Uros Zivanovic (23.48), Sohib Khaled (20.37), and Kalle Makinen (19.06) swimming 1:24.80.
Makinen also won the men’s 50 freestyle in 19.41.
The Florida State men had a few event wins starting with a win in the 400 free relay with Logan Robinson (43.62), Gustav Olsson (42.85), Sam Bork (42.66), and Michel Arkhangelskiy (42.21) swimming 2:51.34.
Arkhangelskiy also won the 100 free in 43.14, beating Auburn’s Daniel Krichevsky by half a second, and Robinson won the 200 fly in 1:45.14, which is about a second slower than the 1:44.06 he swam this weekend last year.
