October 17-18, 2025 Atlanta, Georgia SCY (25 Yards) Results Available on Meet Mobile: “2025 GT The Dual Meet Tournament” Team Scores 5th place meet Minnesota 446 — 345 Georgia Tech 7th place meet George Washington 398 — 388 U.S. Military AcademyThe first meets of the day in Atlanta, and the final meets for the bottom four teams, saw Minnesota and George Washington end up on top of the rankings, with George Washington winning by just 10 points.

The scoring for the meet is below, with the total points being combined by gender for a maximum 720 points available.

Minnesota came out on top of Georgia Tech by 101 points, bringing in 446 to Georgia Tech’s 345. With this finish, they will finish 5th overall in the tournament with Georgia Tech coming in 6th.
The meet started with a win for Georgia Tech in the women’s 400 free relay. Giovana Reis had the fastest split for the team at 48.65 on the leadoff leg. She had never swum the event short course before this weekend, and this time was only five hundredths off the NCAA cutline of 48.60 in the event. She went on to win the 100 free in 49.07.
The Yellow Jackets also won the men’s relay with Ricky Balduccini splitting 42.47 on the 3rd leg to help the team swim 2:53.52 for the four-second win over Minnesota. Balduccini also won the 100 free in 43.01, a new lifetime best in the event, dropping from the 43.34 he swam last season.
From there, Minnesota won most of the individual events, particularly on the women’s side. Junior Katie McCarthy led the team with three individual wins. She won the 200 fly (1:59.06), 500 free (4:50.20), and 200 IM (1:59.90). Her 200 fly was just off the 1:58.44 she swam yesterday, and her 500 freestyle was off the 4:47.17 from the same meet.
The men’s 200 medley relay went to the Georgia Tech team of Balduccini (21.84), Julian Killius (24.79), Stephen Jones (20.94), and Robin Yeboah (19.46) in 1:27.03.
7th Place Meet Highlights
The 7th place meet was one of the closest ones we have seen over the course of the Tournament. Ultimately, George Washington came out on top by just 10 points over the U.S. Military Academy.
The first five events went to Army West Point with the women taking the 400 freestyle relay with Grace Wagner (51.54), Angie McKane (49.49), Kira Macmullan (52.17), and Molly Webber (49.59) swimming 3:22.79.
The men also won in 2:57.74 with Ramon Jiang (45.65), Thomas Hadji (42.96), Joey Kling (45.33), and Ben Vorthmann (43.80).
Jenna Hart won the 100 backstroke in 55.47 and Jonny Crush won the men’s 100 back in 46.05, and Sydney Braeger took the women’s 200 fly in 2:00.15. Crush also won the men’s 100 free in 43.95.
Andres Brooks won George Washington’s first event of the meet, the men’s 200 fly in 1:47.32, a best time by four hundredths from the 1:47.36 he swam last December.
From there, the teams went back and forth with event wins, but the George Washington team took most of the lower places, helping them win the meet.
Ava Topolewski won the women’s 500 free in 4:47.33. This swim was faster than she swam at any meet last season except the Atlantic 10 Championships, where she was 4:46.91. It was still off her best of 4:44.44 from 2024.
Olivia Paquette won both diving events for the Colonials on the women’s side while Holden Wheeler and AJ Wood split the men’s events also for George Washington.
