The star pass rusher was injured on the Sooners’ opening drive, limping off the field and escorted to the medical tent following a short pass completion from OU’s John Mateer to Javonnie Gibson. He then left the playing surface at Williams-Brice Stadium and headed to the locker room with trainers.
Oklahoma would complete the drive 6 plays later on a Tory Blalock 18-yard touchdown run for a 7-0 lead.
Stewart would return to the sideline and was seen working on an exercise bicycle, with SEC Network sideline reporter Alyssa Lang saying he has a hip flexor injury.
