Sunrisers Hyderabad had won an IPL title in the last decade, back in 2016, under the leadership of David Warner - the greatest ever player in the Sunrisers camp. The Sunrisers Hyderabad side also owns multiple other teams across several global T20 leagues. They have the Sunrisers Eastern Cape playing in the SA20 league and have recently acquired the Northern Superchargers team from Yorkshire in the Hundred.
"SRH are in offensive mode as far as this IPL season is concerned. The message has been clear that they have to win a title this time. They feel that they have invested a lot in this current setup under Pat Cummins," TOI journalist Sahil Malhotra said.
