The University of Northern Colorado women’s basketball team’s season opening game has been moved to Tuesday, Nov. 4
The Bears host Northern New Mexico at 6 p.m. at Bank of Colorado Arena. Northern New Mexico is an NAIA school in Espanola, New Mexico.
The game was originally scheduled for 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 as part of a season-opening doubleheader with the UNC men’s team. The men are scheduled to host Colorado College at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3.
Tickets purchased for women’s game Nov. 3 will be honored for Nov. 4, according to the UNC Athletic Department.
The women’s team plays its first four games at home this season. After the Northern New Mexico game, the Bears host Lamar, 2 p.m. Saturday Nov. 8; Bethany College (Kansas), 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11; and University of Denver, 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14.
UNC opens its Big Sky Conference schedule hosting Montana State at 6 p.m. New Year’s Day.
