A significant update is reportedly coming to the Cheetos Flamin' Hot lineup, and it's entirely separate from the "NKD" version we reported on earlier this week.
Several trusted food bloggers are reporting that the Frito-Lay brand of corn puffs will officially expand its Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle variety with a new spinoff slated to release in the first half of 2026.
According to the reports, the spicy, tangy, fan-favorite Cheetos variety will be getting a puffed version in the next few months.
Cheetos Launching Puffed Version of Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle Flavor
The Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle flavor was initially announced in November 2024 as a limited-edition run of its Crunchy Cheetos and hit shelves in February of the following year. Officially, it's described as an experience that combines "the best of Flamin’ Hot and dill pickle for a dill-ightfully cheesy heat." And, apparently, it's so popular among consumers that the company has decided to offer it permanently beginning in 2026–and with a lighter, airier sidekick.
Presumably, the yet-to-be-released Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle Puffs feature the same spicy, cheesy kick, just on a Puff, not a Crunchy Cheeto.

The spicy and savory new snack appeared at a recent industry tradeshow (NACS) in Chicago this past week, and according to early reviews, it's "heavenly."

Additional information, including retailers, pricing, and the expected rollout date, was not immediately available. Since there has been no mention of the item being exclusive to any one retailer or family of stores, we think it's safe to presume that it will likely be offered at most major retailers and convenience stores across the country that stock other Cheetos, Frito-Lay, and PepsiCo products.
