ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say a man was shot on Friday morning while sitting inside his car around a gas station at the corner of South Goodman Street and South Clinton Avenue.
RPD responded around 8:45 a.m. and found the man in his 30s with an upper-body gunshot wound. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive.
Investigators believe the suspect rode up on a bicycle and shot the man before fleeing. RPD says the shooting doesn’t appear to be random. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
