Award-winning actor and writer Jon Lindstrom got quite the shock when he logged onto social media, only to discover reports claiming that he had “died.” The Beyond the Gates and General Hospital star quickly put the rumors to rest, joking with fans after yet another hoax took the internet by storm.
Earlier this week on X (formerly twitter), soap opera fan Kavin posted a screenshot from YouTube with the caption, “First thing I see on YouTube when I logged on. WTF. Why are they trying to kill you @thejonlindstrom?!?! You ain’t dead!!!”
Lindstrom responded with his signature humor, saying, “They try to kill all of us sooner or later. I just wish they’d learn to spell my name. You’d think in death they’d get it right.”

That's crazy and pathetic to do that to someone!! I'm so happy it isn't true! What would we do without you on GH and Beyond the Gates? I watch that mainly because of you!! Happy life, Jon!!”
