In honor of GLAAD’s annual #SpiritDay — which shows support for LGBTQ youth and condemns bullying — the hip-hop star is using his platform to elevate the message through music, animation, and heart.
The Doggyland creator partnered with GLAAD to release a powerful new message for the anti-bullying initiative, which encourages millions of people to “go purple” each year in support of LGBTQ youth.
Together with The Voice alum and artist Jeremy Beloate, Snoop unveiled a new song and animated episode titled “Love Is Love” that aims to remind kids everywhere that “no matter what your family looks like or who your parents are, love is what makes it special.”

The song — which features Beloate as a new Doggyland character named Zippy — introduces young viewers to the idea that families come in all shapes and sizes.
Through colorful animation and Snoop’s unmistakable voice as mentor-pup Bow Wizzle, Doggyland teaches kids social and emotional skills through music.
In a heartfelt video conversation released alongside the new episode, Snoop sat down with Beloate to talk about LGBTQ acceptance, fatherhood, and representation. The rapper reflected on how important it is for children to see love modeled in all its forms.
“It’s a beautiful thing that kids can have parents of all walks and be shown love, to be taught what love is,” Snoop said. “Being able to have parents from all walks of life, whether it be two fathers, two mothers, whatever it is — love is the key.”
Beloate, who competed on The Voice last season, also opened up about his own experiences with bullying and the importance of supportive spaces for LGBTQ youth.
In addition to the Doggyland collaboration, Beloate recently dropped his first single under Snoop’s Death Row Records label, titled “Show Me (How Fast You Can Break My Heart)”, an upbeat and emotional anthem about vulnerability and connection.
This year’s #SpiritDay, sponsored by New York City’s Department of Youth & Community Development and the NFL, continues GLAAD’s 15-year tradition of uniting celebrities, media, schools, and brands in a show of purple-clad solidarity for LGBTQ youth.
