Taylor Swift is breaking records with her latest album, Life of a Showgirl, but it may surprise some to learn that there's someone else breaking records right along with her.
Max Martin, whose real name is Karl Martin Sandberg, is a Swedish songwriter and producer who may have had the most influence on modern pop music. He's best known for working with artists that include Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and The Weeknd.
Martin has also worked with Swift, most recently on Life of a Showgirl, putting his magic touch on "The Fate of Ophelia," which is currently topping the Billboard Hot 100.

To celebrate this accomplishment, Martin took to Instagram to share the news with four photos, two of which featured himself. The other two are screenshots of the long list of singles that he collaborated on that became number one hits, starting with Spears' "...Baby One More Time" in 1999.
