"I know a lot of owners of NFL teams, a lot of people are upset about that,” Lara said of the NFL tapping Bad Bunny for the Feb. 8 performance. “I don’t know what the heck the NFL was thinking with this one, but I can tell you there are a lot of people who are not happy about it."
After tossing out a few names—including Canadian rapper, Tom MacDonald, and country singers, Chris Stapleton and Chris Janson—the former co-chair of the Republican National Committee made her bold offer.
"You know what? You can throw Lara Trump in there," she said, laughing at the idea. "Yeah, that’s right."

She then clarified, "I have not been asked, but I'm going to offer it right now. So, let's see what happens."
To conclude her thoughts on the topic, Lara pointed out. "We don’t need the NFL, we don’t need any of these woke losers to perform. We can have our own performance. So, shout-out to Turning Point [USA] for coming up with their own halftime show. I love it."
Lara has dabbled in music before. In October 2023, she sang a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” on Sky News Australia. And in September 2024, a clip of Lara singing in a verse of a song by Madeline Jaymes titled "Hero" went viral on social media.

On Sept. 28, the NFL announced Bad Bunny as the Super Bowl LX performer.
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, said in a statement. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.
