Country Icon Alan Jackson ‘Overwhelmed’ as Finale Show Gets a Major Update: ‘I’m Just Sorry’

Alan Jackson’s upcoming final full-length show of his career, held next summer at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., is a hot ticket! So much so that the concert, which includes an all-star lineup of supporting talent, has officially sold out.

Pre-sale tickets for the concert, billed as “Alan Jackson’s Last Call: One More for the Road — The Finale,” began at 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 15, and all 55,000 of them were purchased before the general public could even get their hands on one.

According to Country Now, “more than half a million people registered for the pre-sale in hopes of securing tickets.” That’s no surprise given the fact that the country icon, 66, has over 30 No. 1 hits to his name, including timeless songs like, “Chattahoochee,” “Remember When,” “Drive (For Daddy Gene),” “Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning),” “Don’t Rock the Jukebox,” and many more. He has also earned numerous awards and accolades throughout his decades-long career.

Folks from around the world have been clamoring to see Jackson play live one last time since the legendary country artist announced his one last full-length concert earlier this month.

The superstar, who in 2021 revealed he had been living with a degenerative nerve condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, hinted about the news in May 2025 during a stop on his tour, telling the crowd, "We're planning on doing a big finale show in Nashville next summer sometime. I just felt like I had to end it all where it all started, and that’s in Nashville, Tennessee. I've got to do my last one there. But this is the last one out on the road for me."

Of the chosen location for his concert, the singer, who moved from Georgia to Music City years ago and got his start working in the mailroom at the defunct cable network, The Nashville Network (TNN), previously told People, "We just felt like we had to end it all where it all started for me, and that’s in Nashville — Music City — where country music lives."

“It's been a long road... and it’s taken me places I never imagined,” he added. “But I can’t think of a better place to put on a big show and give the fans a finale than in Nashville and include so many special friends."
