Fans of Dua Lipa got an exciting treat on Sunday night.
On her second and final show at the Chase Center in San Francisco, the "Levitating" singer brought out Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong to perform a duet of "Wake Me Up When September Ends," one of the rock band’s hit songs, as part of her ongoing Radical Optimism Tour.
Lipa stunned in a black sheer bodysuit with matching gloves and a black boa to tie the look together. Meanwhile, Armstrong performed next to her wearing his signature all-black outfit — a simple shirt tucked into a pair of skinny jeans and a leather jacket.
On Monday, the 30-year-old artist went to Instagram to express her gratitude for the two San Francisco shows and Armstrong joining her, writing that "sharing the stage with @billiejoearmstrong and singing 'When September Ends' felt like stepping straight into a dream I never thought would come true."
"I kept flashing back to little me running around the house with my Walkman tucked into the back of my jeans, the American Idiot @greenday album blasting in my ears, feeling like the world was so much bigger than I could imagine," she continued in the caption. "Still trying to find the words but I loved everything about last night."
Hours later, Armstrong reposted Lipa's post to his own personal Instagram story, writing "Thank you @dualipa for the invite! You're the best!"

Lipa's Radical Optimism Tour started in Singapore last November and supports her studio album with the same title, which is her third concert tour. Since September, she has been on the North American leg of the tour, stopping in multiple major cities such as Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, New York City, Los Angeles and Miami. Last week, during her Los Angeles shows at the Kia Forum, the "Training Season" singer brought out Gwen Stefani to sing No Doubt's hit song "Don't Speak" and Lionel Richie to sing "All Night Long (All Night)" on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. In the final New York City show at Madison Square Garden, Lipa brought out Lenny Kravitz to sing "It Ain't Over 'til It's Over."
