Diane Keaton's sudden death on Saturday, October 11, at 79 has been shocking for friends and fans. Thankfully, her legacy will live on through the dozens of films she made over a career that spanned six decades.
Some of those films have stood the test of time, with four of them winning Keaton an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. They are Annie Hall, Reds, Marvin's Room, and Something's Gotta Give. She won the award in 1978 for Annie Hall.
Now, in a tribute to the legendary actress after her untimely death, AMC Theaters is bringing back two of her biggest films for a limited time so that fans can see them on the big screen.

Diane Keaton's Legacy Is Powerful
Diane Keaton may have left this earthly plane, but her legacy continues in film and the intent behind the roles she played.
Many of her roles empowered women. For example, Annie Hall redefined the modern woman. In the title role, Keaton displayed her own fashion sense and showed other women that they didn't need to conform.
In Something's Gotta Give, she played successful, older playwright Erica Barry, proving that women over 50 can still be sexy, desirable, and complex.
In other films, including Manhattan and The First Wives Club, Keaton's roles portrayed characters who exemplified the resilience and strength of women, proving that it's never too late to chase dreams, fall in love, or find happiness.
