Patricia stars in Hulu’s upcoming limited series Murdaugh: Death in the Family alongside Jason Clarke, J. Smith-Cameron, Johnny Berchtold, and Brittany Snow. The show dramatizes one of the most shocking modern crime sagas in American history — the downfall of South Carolina attorney Richard “Alex” Murdaugh, portrayed by Clarke.
Arquette plays Maggie Murdaugh, whose 2021 murder at the hands of her husband rocked the Lowcountry community and exposed decades of fraud, theft, and corruption. The miniseries is based on The Murdaugh Murders podcast by investigative journalist Mandy Matney, played in the series by Snow.
