JUNIUS, N.Y. — Seneca County deputies have arrested a Conesus man they say made a threat of mass harm against people in his workplace, causing the business to go into a lockdown.
Roger J. Gillette, 39, of Conesus in Livingston County, Deputies Sunday announced the arrest, which they say happened at around 5:24 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8. They say Gillette threatened to make a list of people and return to his workplace with a gun. He was charged with making a threat of mass harm, a misdemeanor.
Gillette was also issued an extreme risk protection order and ordered to turn over all firearms, and a search warrant was conducted to seize any weapons. He was turned over to the Seneca County correctional facility to await arraignment.
