CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- One person is dead after a crash in southwest Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Around 4 a.m. on Sunday, CMPD put out an alert that they were investigating a crash in the 9900 block of Nations Ford Road. According to Medic, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and there were others taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It's unclear what led to the crash or if anyone will be charged. CMPD urged drivers to avoid the area during the investigation.
