Auburn is aiming to finally snap its losing streak against Georgia in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry on Saturday night.
However, after a controversial call in the first half, social media believes the Tigers are also fighting against the refs too.
Auburn led 10-3 at halftime vs. No. 10 Georgia. However, it could’ve been a 17-0 lead had it not been for Auburn ending up on the wrong end of a replay decision.
With less than 2 minutes left in the half, Auburn called a QB sneak for Jackson Arnold. Arnold ultimately lost possession, officials ruled, before crossing the plane. After replay review, the refs kept the call on the field, which was a fumble recovery by Georgia.
Georgia wound with a field goal on its ensuing drive just before halftime to score their lone 3 points.

Last month against Oklahoma, the SEC issued a statement saying officials failed to identify an illegal tactic by the Sooners that resulted in an Oklahoma touchdown. If officiated correctly, it would have been an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on OU. Oklahoma defeated Auburn by 7 points in that game.
