The Arizona Cardinals have elevated quarterback Kedon Slovis to their active roster ahead of Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts with starter Kyler Murray listed as questionable.

Slovis had signed to the Cardinals practice squad before the 2025 season opener at the New Orleans Saints and was on the Houston Texans practice squad for the entire 2024 NFL season.

Punter Blake Gillikin, who was ruled out earlier on Saturday with a back injury, was placed on injured reserve, the team announced. Once on injured reserve, a player must sit out for at least the next four weeks.
