According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, Cheryl Gates, 43, was the focus of a domestic violence investigation this week. They arrested her on Friday after speaking with detectives.
She is being charged with:
Attempted murder Contaminate food or drink to render one mentally incapacitated Stalking Damage to PropertyGates was initially charged with the last two counts on Tuesday, but was released on a $5,000 bond.
