Katherine Del Rio — wife of fired Matlock actor David Del Rio — is taking a swipe at her husband's former co-star Leah Lewis after her allegations of sexual assault reportedly led to him being booted from the CBS series.
On her Instagram Story Thursday, Oct. 9, Katherine shared a close-up photo of Lewis with the caption, “This is the most disturbing human being I have ever met.”

She later posted a picture with her mother with the caption, "Mom is here. We are moving forward in love and strength after what Leah did to our family. Thank you for all the love and support!"

Us Weekly also reports that earlier on Oct. 9, Lewis had been following Katherine’s Instagram account. However, it seems Lewis is no longer following the account and her comments have disappeared, which suggests she may have been blocked by Katherine.
Katherine and David married in April 2018 and share two daughters.
On Oct. 9, news first broke that Del Rio had been fired from Matlock following allegations of sexual assault against Lewis.
Deadline reported that the alleged incident occurred on Sept. 26 and “triggered immediate action by the series’ producers and CBS Studios.”
According to TMZ, Del Rio was “escorted off the Paramount lot last week as soon as the allegations were reported.” Deadline later confirmed that one of the individuals who walked him off the lot was Matlock executive producer Eric Christian Olsen.
CBS Studios declined to comment on the matter to Parade, but the network did confirm that Del Rio has exited the series.
In Matlock, Lewis stars as first-year associate Sarah Franklin who works alongside Kathy Bates‘s Madeline “Matty” Matlock at the fictional law-firm Jacobson Moore. Del Rio played another first-year associate named Billy Martinez, who was best friends with Franklin in the series.
Matlock has continued filming its second season amid the actor’s sudden exit, but Del Rio’s character will reportedly be written out of the series later on in the season. Filming will be going on hiatus starting next week through November, with production starting again after Thanksgiving.
Matlock season 2 premieres Sunday, Oct. 12 on CBS.
