LAKEPORT, CA — The 23rd annual “Falling Leaves” Quilt show in Lakeport, October 4 through 5, featured 157 quilts on display, from 48 exhibitors, over the weekend exhibit, including the first-place model named ” Remember When ” by Maion Onstad, showing what it was like back in the day with grandma making a quilt in grandma’s cabin. The “Falling Leaves Quilt Show” was presented by the Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild this past Saturday and Sunday at Lewis Hall, located at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Besides quilts on display, there were themed baskets, demonstrations, a drawing for a quilt, a silent auction, food from the Cafe, door prizes, vendors, and a Country Store.
