Teen Mom alum Farrah Abraham is causing controversy yet again — this time, for allowing her 16-year-old daughter, Sophia, to get her first tattoo.
Earlier this week, the mother-daughter duo took to Instagram to share videos of Sophia's first pieces of ink: three matching bats on both of her hips.
But first, the two seemed to troll their fan base with a fake pregnancy tease.
"we have a surprise for you guys," Farrah, 34, and her only child — whom she shares with late boyfriend Derek Underwood — posted on Instagram, including a pregnant emoji and a shot of Sophia holding her hands on each side of her stomach.
"Oh my god!" screams the audio as Farrah pretends to be stunned. Sophia then lifts up her shirt to reveal her new ink. "I got my first tattoo!"

The two then shared a video of Sophia getting tattooed.
"This is so surreal," Abraham captioned the clip, tagging Sophia and the tattoo artist. "First #tatoo [sic] memory !"
Per The Ashley's Reality Roundup, it seems as if Abraham and the teen flew to Florida to get the ink done, as the state allows a minor to get tattooed with a parents' permission.

While Abraham has made headlines for her questionable choices over the years, the MTV alum received plenty of pushback on this one — with many criticizing her decision to let her teen get inked.
"Yall call this parenting?! She’s 16 years old…," one person commented.
"Be a mother to her… not her friend," another user wrote.
"Permanent decisions shouldn’t be made until you’re an adult," a third person noted.
Others, however, praised Abraham for allowing her daughter to have her own style.
"I was 16 when my parents got me my first tattoos, I'm so grateful my parents supported who I am and what I loved from a young age ?," one fan wrote.
