Coca-Cola is shaking up its lineup at convenience stores, and all we have to say is it's about time.
On Wednesday, the iconic soft drink brand revealed it would be expanding its product lineup at c-stores and quick-stop retailers as a way to give consumers "more choices," and, from what we can tell, this update might be the best news since we got confirmation that Diet Coke Lime would be returning nationwide (and soon).
So we'll just cut right to it, single-serve versions of Coke's mini cans will now be available at convenience stores nationwide and it's not just the name-brand cola, but several other core brands that fall under the Coca-Cola umbrella (like Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar, Cherry Coke, Sprite, and Fanta Orange). Oh, and here's the real kicker: the company is also making seasonal flavors and limited-edition varieties available in single-serve mini sizes. So if you haven't tried the Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry yet, now you can in a more convenient format.
While some may say that this isn't as big a deal as, let's say, the announcement of a new flavor or returning favorite, we argue the contrary. In fact, this is amazing news for people with commitment issues who want to try a new-to-market, LTO, or seasonal soda flavor without committing to the six-pack found at grocery stores or bigger, more expensive bottles.

Joel Bishop, the president of commercial leadership, North America at The Coca-Cola Company would likely agree, suggesting in a statement that "People want more ways to enjoy Coca‑Cola on their terms – whether that’s a smaller portion, a favorite classic or something new to try."
"Convenience stores are where many of today’s quick decisions happen, and the cold vault plays a big role in those moments," Bishop explained. "By introducing mini cans into that space, we’re giving you more choice and making Coca‑Cola easier to enjoy and more accessible for the next generation."
The popular 7.5-ounce cans will arrive at major convenience stores starting in January, with a suggested retail price of $1.29 per can. While prices may vary, the smaller sizes are not only more convenient for snacking and testing flavors, but for your wallet, too.
