On a related note, the alt-rock band known as The Smashing Pumpkins have just launched an "OG Goth Smoothie" in time for Halloween, in collaboration with Erewhon.
A joint social media post this week from the grocery chain and the legendary band reveals that the custom smoothie is a “nutty, decadent blend reminiscent of your favorite chocolate treats (no tricks!)” and will be available to buy for $19.79 (a reference to their iconic 1995 song) from all Erewhon locations until Nov. 8.
In the Instagram post, the band says they're donating a portion of proceeds from the smoothie to the Concussion Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit that fights for concussion safety and a world without CTE. Frontman Billy Corgan sits on the organization’s national advisory board, NME reports.

Fans flooded the recent Instagram post's comment section with mixed reactions to the surprising collaboration.
"Weirdest collaboration maybe ever," one user wrote, while another simply commented, "Disappointing." Someone else voiced their support, however, writing, "I'm assuming Billy said 'yes' to this collab because the proceeds goes to the charity for Concussions listed in the caption."
Next month, the band will release a 30th anniversary deluxe reissue of Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness, NME also reported, including a 6-LP package that includes over 80 minutes of unreleased audio from the album’s accompanying 1996 tour, a hardbound book with new liner notes from Corgan and more.
Meanwhile, The Smashing Pumpkins' 13th and latest album, Aghori Mhori Mei, was released last year.
