COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Columbus police are looking for a suspect in connection to a highway shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon in north Columbus.
According to Columbus police, detectives are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for a shooting on Interstate 270 East, between Worthington-Galena Road and the Interstate 71 interchange.
At approximately 1:06 p.m., officers were called to the area on reports of shots fired. Police learned that a person reportedly stopped on the interstate, opened the driver’s side doors and both passenger doors, procured a gun, and fired multiple shots at oncoming traffic heading eastbound.

Police said the incident resulted in 13 total victims, though no injuries were reported.
